Jean has served for 30 years as a first aid instructor volunteer with No.10 Adult Division, Regina, Saskatchewan donating over 6,500 voluntary community service hours.
Jean was awarded the grade of Commander in the Order of St. John by Her Majesty the Queen.

St. John Week is declared annually in the City of Regina for the third week in June.
